Abdominoplasty: The American Heritage Dictionary defines Abdominoplasty as plastic surgery of the abdomen in which excess fatty tissue and skin are removed, usually for cosmetic purposes.

Tummy Tuck: This procedure is also known as a Tummy Tuck and is done to remove the excess skin and fat that may result from pregnancy, obesity or age. With a full abdominoplasty, the benefits include tightening of the abdominal muscles which may have become stretched out or lax over time. A tummy tuck is not a simple procedure and one should be aware of the risks as well as the post operative care.

Costs: The price of a tummy tuck today ranges anywhere from $5,000 to $9,000 per surgery.
